Plague Doctor during
the Black Death

Fortunately for us all, National Geographic has come to my rescue with a video offering what presents nearly all of the information I had presented in the ZOOM lecture. At least the most crucial areas concerning the Bubonic plague. In particular, the Plague of Justinian and the Black Death. I trust this will prove to be very educational. The only thing missing is my poor sense of humour

Please have a look and if you have any questions, use the comments area below to ask your question(s)

BTW. To learn more about this rather odd looking image and what it represents, I direct your attention to THIS link. It is a very important addition to what we know of the plague and those who treated the afflicted.

On the Spanish Flu Pandemic, select THIS link. One of the most dangerous pandemics in modern times.

This will provide you with virtually all of the material presented at the ZOOM lecture. Some additional Art related material has been left out because it would have required additional explanation. Again, this represents 90% of that presentation.
