Staying in Touch Part 2

After a rocky beginning, I have discovered that being the Administrator of two Chat groups with the same title on the same platform creates confusion, with posts winding up in either FaceBook or Messenger. I have decided to use the Messenger version only. Here are my reasons.

  1. Messenger is immediate and uses an easy to follow "flow" where ach post or comment leads to the next without interruption.
  2. People may post favorite pictures of their gardens or such as part of the flow.
  3. It is far less complicated in general than a Facebook Chat.
  4. You should ALREADY HAVE MESSENGER if you have a Facebook account. It is the little lightening bolt in a bubble when you first open Facebook. If not, you can download Messenger from your App store.
Instructions:
  • If you do not have Messenger, please download it
  • If you have it (lightening bolt bubble in your Facebook Account) use that by selecting it.
  • Use the magnifying glass icon to search for Humanities for Brevard from you Messenger App.
  • Once you have found it, drop in, say hello, add more text and so forth.
  • You DO NOT have to be there waiting for someone to show up. You comments will be seen by me of course, but other members when they drop in
  • In this time of stress, it is a great way to stay in touch. I, and I am certain others, would love to hear from you.
  • If you have any problems either downloading or accessing the group from Messenger, call, text, or Email me. I will respond ASAP.
  • Let's join together and stay in touch in this way. It works so well.
Remember to look for this icon to see if you already have it as part of your Facebook app, or, when you download it, this will be the icon for it.

The Messenger icon you would use to search for
the Humanities for Brevard. Drop a line, say hello, share a concern, or just let us know you are well. You are missed. We all are missed. Please try Messenger.
